What is MyJourney Soccer?

MyJourney Soccer is a mobile app that provides users with access to world-class coaches from anywhere in the world. Leveraging digital technology, MyJourney Soccer rethinks the way young soccer players train, progress, and reach their full potential.

What’s included in the subscription?

Your subscription includes access to a line-up of world-class coaches, including David Copeland-Smith and his team. Subscription features include game recording reviews, on- and off-ball skill assessments, personalized coaching, drills, lessons and challenges, and a customized roadmap to reaching your goals.

Who will be my player’s coach?

Your coach will be David Copeland-Smith. Internationally acclaimed for his expertise and success in training World Cup champions, Olympic Gold Medalists, and Champions League winners, soccer trainer David Copeland-Smith empowers the sport’s elite athletes with his ground-breaking individual technical development programs.

How much does the app cost?

MyJourney Soccer subscription starts from USD $19.99 per month. Monthly and annual subscription options are available. You can get in early by purchasing a Kick Card here

Will my information and video content be shared with other users?

Your information and any video content you provide through the app will be stored securely and will not be shared with other users.

When does the app launch?

What is the Kick Card?

The Kick Card is our version of a pre-order. It reserves you first access to the MyJourney Soccer app when it goes live PLUS access to exclusive content from Alex. Better yet, all Kick Card holders go into the draw to win a trip for four to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Can I use the app once I have my digital Kick Card?

Kick Card holders will get first access to the app upon launch in January 2023 and put you first in line to secure a spot in David Copeland-Smith’s primary coaching squad, of which there are limited spaces available.

What is included, when I purchase a Kick Card?

When you purchase a Kick Card this will secure your 6-month subscription with David Copeland-Smith as your coach. A Kick Card purchase also includes exclusive access to Instagram @myjourney_soccer’s ‘Close Friends’ group, which will feature playlists, pre-game meals, equipment advice, and much more, from Alex Morgan herself. All Kick Card holders also go into the draw to win a trip for four to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

When does my subscription start?

For a Kick Card holders, your 6-month subscription will start when the app officially launches, in January 2023. You will be notified when the app is live.

How do I receive exclusive content from Alex?

Exclusive content from Alex Morgan will be shared via weekly email updates and via our Instagram @myjourney_soccer’s ‘close friends’ group. You will need to provide your Instagram account handle on checkout for automatic ‘close friends’ group access.

What’s included in the 2023 FIFA World Cup trip?

The lucky winner will receive four tickets to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, accommodation during your stay and return flights.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can get a full refund on your Kick Card purchase by contacting support via the website or by emailing Kick Card refunds will automatically remove you from the ‘Close Friends’ group, exclusive mailing list, FIFA Women’s World Cup draw, and first access to David Copeland-Smith as your coach.

The App

Where can I download the app?

The MyJourney Soccer app will be available to download on Android and iOS via Playstore and the App Store in January 2023.

What do I need to record and upload Game Film?

Game Film is video content of your player’s game. Game Film needs to be clear and high-resolution footage, taken either via a mobile device or digital camera and then uploaded to the app. Low-quality Game Film may inhibit our coaches from providing a detailed game analysis.

How many Game Films can I upload?

You have unlimited Game Film uploads throughout your subscription. Each Game Film is to be uploaded separately. You cannot upload multiple Game Films simultaneously.

What is a player profile?

When you download the app you will be prompted to create a player profile. Your player profile includes basic information on your player’s skill level and soccer goals. This information allows MyJourney Soccer to tailor personalized coaching, drills, lessons, challenges and roadmaps.

How do I upload game footage (Game Film)?

Game Film can be uploaded during the initial sign-up process, or once you are using the app via the upload button on the main dashboard. You can view all past uploads in your Game Film library, accessible via the bottom navigation of the app.

What is a Roadmap?

Your MyJourney Soccer coach will assess your on- and off-ball skills, along with your player profile, to create a customized Roadmap. Your Roadmap includes drills, lessons, and milestones to reach whilst on your journey to reaching your end goal.

Can I share access with other people?

You can invite up to three people to join your MyJourney Soccer account as ‘team members’. Please note, that each account can only have one team member assigned as the ’player’.

How do I invite a player or team member to my account?

Simply share the link provided during the app sign-up process. Team members opening your shared link will be prompted to sign up and join your team. 

Do I have to pay per team member?

Your MyJourney Soccer app subscription includes up to three team members, one of which will be the ‘player’. This means you can share app access with your player, a family member, or a coach so they can also follow and have input on your player's progress.

Can I change my player’s level when they progress?

You can change your player’s level via the app. Once you have changed levels, you will still have access to past video uploads via the Game Film library.

How do I assign a player in my team?

Once a team member is added to an account the admin of the account can assign their role by choosing from either ‘player’ or ‘member’.

What type of subscriptions do you offer?

The MyJourney Soccer app is available to users on a monthly or an annual subscription basis and can be cancelled at any time.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription:
On Android: Open Google Play (Play Store) > tap your name > tap Payments & Subscriptions > select the subscription and select Cancel Subscription.
On iOS: Open the Settings app > tap your name > tap Subscriptions > select the subscription and then tap Cancel. From here you can change or cancel your subscription. Important: When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel.

Can I cancel my annual subscription early?

Annual subscription holders who wish to cancel before the end of their 6-month term will receive a refund on the remaining term.

How is MyJourney Soccer app billed?

The MyJourney Soccer app is billed at reoccurring monthly intervals using the Credit Card details connected to your device account.

What payment types does the app accept?

The MyJourney Soccer app is subscription based. Accepted payment methods include direct debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) or Digital Payments. 

I forgot my username, what do I do?

On the MyJourney Soccer app login screen tap on the link ‘forgot my username’ and enter your recovery email address. An email will be sent to this address detailing your username.

On the MyJourney Soccer app login screen tap on the link ‘forgot my password’ and enter your recovery email address. An email will be sent to this address with a link to reset your password.
